In collaboration with the Brazilian Association of Friends of Frans Krajcberg, we are carrying out an inventory, digitization, and management of Frans Krajcberg’s archives: critical texts, publications, photographs, documentation...
The Archives are continually updated and enriched by the team at the Association of Friends of Frans Krajcberg. You are welcome to inform us of any documents that could contribute to a better understanding of the artistic world during the time Frans Krajcberg lived.

The archives of Thérèse Vian, deposited in February 2020 at the Espace Frans Krajcberg, constitute the first donation to the KRAJCBERG FUND.
Thérèse Vian’s husband, Christian Mantovani, chose to donate to the Espace all of her archives related to Frans Krajcberg (numerous texts, exhibition catalogues, and photographs taken by Thérèse during her travels with Frans Krajcberg).
Thérèse Vian-Mantovani (1953–2017) was a photographer, art historian, exhibition curator, editor-in-chief of art journals, and publisher of art books. She was Frans Krajcberg’s assistant and friend until her death in 2017. The trips she took to Brazil with Frans Krajcberg transformed her vision of art and nature.

Collectors: make yourself known!
Our association carries out archival, documentation, and promotion work of the artist’s oeuvre and contributes to the development of the catalogue raisonné of his works, currently in progress.
We work closely with the artist’s rights holders in Brazil.
In this context, it is essential to locate Frans Krajcberg’s works and identify their owners and holders in order to:
─ Take high-definition photographs of the works if necessary;
─ Know under which ownership credits the reproduction of the works should be indicated, especially for publications or exhibitions;
─ Know whom to contact for possible loan requests.
To this end, we would be very grateful if you could provide us with your contact details and any information you consider useful for the proper documentation of the oeuvre.
Of course, we guarantee the complete confidentiality of this information.
