L'Association des Amis de Frans Krajcberg

The Association Frans Krajcberg's Friends has committed itself to the City of Paris to promote the artist, his work, and, according to his wishes, to continue his fight for the preservation of nature, the Amazon rainforest, and the peoples who inhabit it.
Created at the initiative of the artist himself, it brings together cultural figures who are sensitive to his environmental commitment. Most have been among his closest friends.
The Association strives to ensure that Frans Krajcberg’s call resonates as widely as possible by bringing together around his work and message: artists, researchers, schools and universities, associations, cultural and environmental institutions.
The Frans Krajcberg Space opened in 2004. It is a cultural venue dedicated to environmental causes that presents the donation made by the artist to the City of Paris in 2001: 20 sculptures, bas-reliefs, paintings, and emblematic photographs.
The Association of Frans Krajcberg's Friends ensures their preservation and public display.
In 2019, Espace Frans Krajcberg became the Espace Frans Krajcberg, Contemporary Art Center, Art & Nature.
